Praying For Each Other

During this season of uncertainty, we must all see ourselves as connected.  We want to support each other, be for each other and yes, even pray for each other.  This site is designed for that very purpose.  Take a minute to share a request for prayer.  Others will see your request and will pray for you, when they do you will be notified someone has prayed for you.

Please share this site with many people.  You can share via social media, by text, by email or by simply picking up the phone.

We look forward to seeing what will come of this little experiment.

Hi Parkview! Marla and I are thankful for your prayers for us as your missionaries to the Philippines. Please pray for us here in Manila as we are in week 3 of a 5-week lockdown for the majority of the country. Pray that we would be salt and light to those around us who are in need. Please also pray that for those missionaries that we are responsible for in different countries here in Asia that they too would be able to meet the needs of the sick and hungry near them. Thank God with us for opportunities like this to show Jesus love to others.

I live near Parkview, and my husband and I have attended a few services at Parkview. I feel my faith is being tested as I am sure many others feel right now. I am a nurse at a local hospital. I am scared for what I have seen and what is still to come. My husband and I have been recently trying to conceive. We have been pregnant twice now, and i just had my second miscarriage on Friday in the midst of the COVID pandemic at the hospital. I need to find strength to move forward. I want to thank the community for their support. When I left the hospital Friday, there were a number of posters and banners outside the hospital made by the community thanking us for our services. I know it doesn’t seem like much, but it is extremely supportive to the healthcare community and I found it especially supportive with the added layer of emotional distress i am experiencing. I prayer that the community continues to come together to persevere through this very challenging time to give me the strength to move forward and serve those that need help.

I pray for the anonymous post below as I personally can relate to the struggles and fear. i pray you have a healthy pregnancy and delivery that you may share with your loved ones and family.

My husband and I have gone to Parkview for 2.5 years. We moved to the Chicagoland area knowing not a soul and have been ridiculously blessed by the outpouring of this community. That being said, I firmly believe in the power of prayer from the community. I am nurse and a Case Manager in the emergency room. I am also 30 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby. It is a scary time to be in this situation. We had to cancel our baby shower and many hospitals are not allowing laboring women to have a support person, meaning that my husband would not be there for the birth of our first child. My parents also live in MI and may not able to come for the birth. There is so much uncertainty and it feels like a cruel joke that after trying for a baby for over 2 years, our story goes this way. Prayers for peace during this time, as I can’t imagine going through labor without my husband. And I can’t imagine having a baby without my mom being here for a couple of weeks. Thank you so much for your unbelievable community, faith, and support. Again, we are so blessed to have found this amazing community of believers. Praying for all of you, that you have peace and health during this time.

I am a teacher. Not only do I have to deal with teaching remotely, but my contract has not been renewed. After my working hours, I have to be looking for and applying for jobs. Please pray that I will get a job for next school year.

Thank you for praying!

Please pray for our daughter, Caitlin. She is a nurse on a maternity ward in Decatur, Georgia. When she got to work 2 nights ago, a patient with Covid-19 was delivering a baby. Caitlin has been assigned as the “isolation nurse” who will be taking care of the Covid-19 patients who are having babies in her hospital (on her 12 hour shift). She says she has been told to unlearn all the protocol she has been taught about how to safely wear personal protective equipment so that she can now re-wear it. Her hospital does not have a nursery, so she is also caring for the newborns in the rooms with their moms. Pray for Caitlin, the mothers and their babies.

Prayers that my husband no longer finds the worldly people to be his idols, prayers for him to remember Christ is the only way, prayers for our marriage, for all negative influence he continues to believe. Prayers that the man God gave me returns to both of us and understands what Love means. He became a Chaplin, 4 years ago, yet I never see that side since I found him a job. He is paralyzed due to motorcycle accident prior to meeting him. I am thankful he loves his job , and feels a self worth again, but disappointed that he lost all values for who I thought I married a christian man that that Loved Christ and me not the world!
